Birthday Celebration

On Sunday, we had a birthday celebration for John David, Chandler and me at the home where Kenzie is staying. We had a great time. We thought we would have a time to rest before our afternoon church service, but we forgot how long a party lasts here. When there is a birthday party (any gathering for that matter) in Costa Rica, you better come hungry and you need to pace yourself. The food was still coming off the grill after 3 hours.

Kenzie Travels with us

Our nephew Kenzie is spending 3 weeks with us in Costa Rica. He enjoys playing the guitar and has been playing for us some while he is here. This is Kenzie with Costa Rican kids and our kids in the boys bedroom.

Lily had such a great time in the pool. The first week she had a little trouble balancing the floatie suit, but she quickly mastered it and was swimming all over! She was very happy with her new freedom!
